Ruth Juon studied classical voice at the Conservatory Zürich with the American Operasinger Carol Smith and pop and jazz at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA.

Since then Ruth Juon worked as freelance soprano, composer, lyricist and vocal teacher and did besides her classical gigs concerts, TV, radio and recordings among others with Dennis Armitage DRS Sextett, Jiggs Whigham, Reto Parolari, «Vince Benedetti tentet», «hr- Bigband des Hessischen Rundfunks» and Peter Jacques. For her songs Ruth Juon got a Swisstop Award by Swiss Radio DRS. For 6 years Ruth Juon was engaged as a Jazz singer in the «Orchestra Willy Schmid» and sang in the legendary Hotel «Kindli » in Zürich, in whole Switzerland, in New York, Caracas and Istanbul. For many years she sang with the concert-jazz pianist Eugen Cicero and did with him and his trio concerts and recordings in Switzerland and Germany, among others for the SWR, Germany.

More and more Ruth Juon wished to compose her own songs: She writes the lyrics and composes from it the songs, which she also arranges, plays, sings and produces. Evi Juon, her sister, draws and paints to it the visual world with fine line and in pure bright colours. The figurative aquarell drawings she readapts as a video projection to the music. With that the two artists create their own audio-visual concert program, the Vision of Paradise ARTCONCERT.


Vision of Paradise
1999 Ruth Juon and Evi Juon founded their publishing company «Vision of Paradise» and since then work ideally and artistically together. The two sitsters create and produce with lots of love CDs, Picture Books with CDs, DVDs, Aquarelle Fine Art Print-Pictures, Art Cards and Silk Foulards.
2002 they opened the Vision of Paradise GALLERY, where their over 40 Song-Pictures are permanently exhibited.
With the Vision of Paradise ARTCONCERT they also bring their audio-visual art on stage.
